The Beginning

AKB Studios wasn't born in a salon. It was born in the middle of a Chemistry degree.

While most people would see a contradiction there, science on one side, beauty on the other. Amara always saw the connection. Both require precision. Both require patience. And both, at their best, are a form of creation.

Lashes had always been a staple in Amara's personal routine. The ritual of showing up to your day feeling like the best version of yourself.

It was that feeling she wanted to give to others.

In 2020, while still at university, Amara founded AKB Studios as a side hustle, but was committed. A commitment to enhancing beauty through artistry, to listening before applying, and to creating lash designs that didn't just look beautiful, but felt like the person wearing them.
